It shows the first ever victory for Bugatti in the 1937 edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours with the Typ 57G "Tank", driven by Jean-Pierre Wimille and Robert Benoist. It took Bugatti 6 years to score their first victory at the Sarthe circuit.
