This is a vintage 1969 COLOR photo of Jackie Oliver's (1942 - ) BRM P133 being wheeled into a service truck during a practice session for the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone.
The photo was taken on July 17, 1969 and the car is obviously leaking oil.
The photographer wrote "17-7-1969" on the top border and "J. Oliver 3000 c.c. V12 B.R.M." on the bottom border (visible in the scan). You can leave it there "as is", trim the borders off the photo or have it disappear under a matting when you have it framed.
Jackie qualified the BRM in 13th place but had to retire the car in lap 19 due to transmission trouble.
It measures approximately 3.5 x 5 inches.
Mint condition and much sharper than the scan suggests.
