This is a vintage 1969 COLOR photo of Denny Hulme (1936 - 1992) in his McLaren M7A in the pitlane during a practice session for the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone.

The photo was taken on July 17, 1969.

The photographer wrote "17-7-1969" on the top border and "D. Hulme 3000 c.c. McLaren-Ford" on the bottom border (visible in the scan). You can leave it there "as is", trim the borders off the photo or have it disappear under a matting when you have it framed.

Denny qualified the McLaren in 3rd place but had to retire the car in lap 27 of the race due to ignition problems.

It measures approximately 5 x 3.5 inches.

Mint condition and much sharper than the scan suggests.
