This is a vintage 1969 COLOR photo of Jackie Stewart's (1939 - ) Matra MS84 in the paddock during a practice session for the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone.
The photo was taken on July 17, 1969.
The photographer wrote "17-7-1969 Silverstone" on the top border and "J. Stewart 3000 c.c. Matra-Ford" on the bottom border (visible in the scan). You can leave it there "as is", trim the borders off the photo or have it disappear under a matting when you have it framed.
This car was only entered in the first qualifying session and Jackie set a 5th time with it. For the race, he drove a Matra MS80 with which he would win the race.
It measures approximately 5 x 3.5 inches.
Mint condition and much sharper than the scan suggests.
