This is a vintage 1967 COLOR photo of Bruce McLaren (1937 - 1970) and his Eagle Weslake T1G in the paddock during a practice session for the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone.

The photo was taken on July 13, 1967 and Bruce can be seen on the left, talking to Dan Gurney.

The photographer wrote "13.7.1967" on the top border and "B. McLaren 3000 c.c. Eagle-Weslake" on the bottom border (visible in the scan). You can leave it there "as is", trim the borders off the photo or have it disappear under a matting when you have it framed.

Bruce qualified the Eagle in 10th place but had to retire the car in lap 14, while in 8th place, with engine trouble.

It measures approximately 4.9 x 3.5 inches.

Mint condition and much sharper than the scan suggests.
