This is a vintage 1967 COLOR photo of David Hobbs (1939 - ) and his BRM P261 in the pits during a practice session for the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone.

The photo was taken on July 13, 1967 and David can be seen on the left, wearing his helmet.

The photographer wrote "13.7.1967" on the top border and "D. Hobbs 2100 c.c. B.R.M" on the bottom border (visible in the scan). You can leave it there "as is", trim the borders off the photo or have it disappear under a matting when you have it framed.

David qualified the BRM in 14th place and managed a rewarding 8th overall in the race.

It measures approximately 4.9 x 3.5 inches.

Mint condition and much sharper than the scan suggests.
